Vivo T2 is back from the dead, at least some of its versions. A phone with model number V2240 has appeared in the Geekbench 5 database and there is reason to believe that this is the T2 that will be launched in India on April 11 (Tuesday).
Again, this Vivo T2 is different from the one that was due to be launched in China before it suffered several delays. This will be a lower-powered device using a chipset code called “Holi” — Qualcomm seems to be using this for both the Snapdragon 695 and Snapdragon 480.

Geekbench 5 scorecard: vivo T2 with Snapdragon 695 chipset
Neither chip is particularly powerful, but the 695 uses the newer A78 cores instead of the A76. Judging by the single-core score, that’s the Snapdragon 695 — phones with this chip usually get 600-700 points on Geekbench 5, and the older 480’s big CPU is usually in the 500-600 range. Again, neither chip is a speed demon. In any case, this particular unit is equipped with 6 GB of RAM, although there may be other configurations.
Flipkart has so far revealed that both the vivo T2 and T2x will feature FHD+ AMOLED displays with 1300 nits peak brightness, 360Hz touch sampling rate, and a high refresh rate (120Hz is assumed but exact number not listed). More details will be revealed on April 7, 9 and 11 until the full reveal.
