
If you have a few thousand dollars and love to confuse people with your outfit, Loewe’s has something right up your alley.
The Spanish luxury brand is now selling the glamorous clothes shown on the runway at Paris Fashion Week last fall as part of its mini “Pixel” collection. The edition includes outfits like a baby blue hoodie, denim skirt, and T-shirt, plus accessories like a handbag. If you’re on a tight budget, the cheapest thing is a T-shirt with a blurred Loewe logo for $590. Staying true to himself, Loewe says the purchases will come in limited-edition cut packaging.
Of all the shambling tricks disguised as commentary that fashion houses have come up with, Loewe’s—under creative director Jonathan Anderson—is the least ridiculous. the Maine Craft The clothes don’t come with an NFT that could soon become useless or access to a digital “community” for buzzword input. Instead, the attention is on the details and artistry that made the garments: How did they get the pants to look like this? What might you feel in your hands? The physicality of the pieces is what makes them great.
Me personally? These clothes are from my tax bracket. But if I see someone wearing a piece on the street, I’ll stop and stare.
