The new offerings come from trusted tipster OnLeaks in collaboration with MySmartPrice, which gives us all the color along with the expected specs. The interesting part of these purported renderings is the new azure colorway, which looks cool, to say the least.

It is likely that the device, along with the new azure color, will appear in two more traditional gray and white colors – the supposed renderings are presented below. It carries over a familiar design (that matches previously leaked renders) similar to the Pixel 7, getting an aluminum camera frame instead of glass, as seen on the predecessor Pixel 6a.
However, the front looks the same, with a centered perforated display and very noticeable bezels, which is acceptable given the budget smartphone segment. 90 Hz refresh rate. It is also expected to be powered by the Google Tensor G2 SoC, which debuted with the Pixel 7 series.
MSP’s report also states that it tends to sport a 64MP primary camera. The IMX787 sensor is a big bump from the Pixel 6a which comes with an excellent old 12MP primary lens. Additionally, the Pixel 7a’s primary sensor is said to be powered by a 12MP ultra-wide angle lens. The device is expected to have a 10.8MP front camera.

Although the new leak shows how to display the new azure color, it’s not the first time we’ve come across this moniker. According to a previous leak from Roland Quandt, the Pixel 7a is said to feature Carbon, Cotton, Midnight Blue, and possibly Jade colorways. The name game here is purely a cross-regional marketing strategy, which is subject to change until the phones hit the commercial market later this year.
