Marvel Studios today released a trailer for “The Marvels,” featuring three female superheroes – Captain Marvel, Ms. Marvel, and Captain Rambo. The film is set to hit theaters November 10 and sees Brie Larson, Iman Villani, and Teona Paris reprise their roles.
“The Marvels” is the third movie of Phase 5 of the MCU and takes place right after the post-credits scene in the first season of the Disney+ series “Ms. Marvel.” The scene showed Kamala (Villani) switching places with Carol Danvers (Larson).
The trailer confirms that whenever one of the Marvels uses their abilities, someone switches places. For example, Kamala switches sides with SABER astronaut Captain Monica Rambeau, Danver’s estranged niece, while working with Nick Fury in space.
In addition to their body-swapping dilemma, the trio must team up to stop a new intergalactic threat – the Kree Empire.
The footage from the trailer was first revealed at D23 Expo 2022. Marvel Studios has since moved the theatrical release of “The Marvels” from July 28 to November. The movie will hit Disney+ later in the year. We believe it will get a streaming release in late December, approximately 45 days after the theatrical release.
