
Some users on /r/ GooglePixel The subreddit is getting free cash from Google with a notice that they’re getting paid to “try Google Pay for test conversions”. Some get a modest amount, but others see their balance increase by more than $1,000.

Dogfooding means that company employees test a new feature or service before making it available to the public. This suggests that Google mistakenly sends cash to random users in order to “test” Google Pay features instead of paying their employees who actually tested them.
