Casper is back, baby. The quintessential bed-in-a-box brand has launched two brand-new mattresses: Casper, which is a throwback to the company’s first mattress model, and Snow, which puts a heavy emphasis on cooling technology for those who tend to overheat while sleeping.
I tried Casper’s Wave Hybrid mattress and I’m officially obsessed
Both models are currently available on Casper’s website, and they range from size twin all the way up to California King. Here’s the lowdown on each of them.
The Casper is a tribute to the mattress that started it all, only at a more comfortable price tag (starting at just $595). The mattress uses layers of Casper’s signature foam, as well as premium memory foam to provide plenty of comfort and cushy support throughout the night. It also makes great use of the brand’s patented AirScape technology, which keeps the mattress ventilated and diverts heat and moisture away from you while you’re counting sheep. If you pick up The Casper directly from the company’s website, you’ll even get a few extras, including a Casper sheet and pillow set.
The Snow Mattress couldn’t have come at a better time. As the weather starts to warm up, the excessive temperature in the middle of the night will become a bigger risk, and Snow aims to solve this problem. You get the Zoned Support and premium foam construction of Casper’s other luxury models, but with the addition of new cooling technology between each layer of the mattress. These include the CoolTouch cover, which is designed with specialized cooling yarns, HeatDelete straps that move heat away from your body, and AirScape perforations that keep the mattress ventilated. It doesn’t come cheap, but if you find yourself regularly waking up in pools of sweat during the summer, it might be worth the investment.
