
The upcoming iPhone 15 Pro duo is rumored to have titanium frames instead of stainless steel. Also, reports claim that the Pro models will switch to solid-state buttons, similar to what happened to the Home key on older iPhones.
Someone got hold of a dummy iPhone 15 Pro unit, which shows a slightly different button layout than the 14 series. The volume rocker is now taller, possibly to make it easier to use now that it’s not a real rocker.

How will the Ring/Silent switch work when you can’t actually move the switch? It won’t, Apple will apparently replace it with an “action button” inspired by the Apple Watch Ultra. This new button can be seen above the volume button.
Below that is the SIM tray, but who knows how many regions will have that option — Apple has already moved to eSIM-only for US iPhone 14 units. The only thing that definitely changes is the removal of the Lightning port in favor of USB-C. All models will get the new port, though only Pros will offer a higher-speed connection (UFS 3.2 or Thunderbolt 3), according to Ming-Chi Kuo.
