Samsung usually pushes updates to the entire series, but this may vary by variant and carrier.

All three Galaxy S23 series phones launched with Android 13 and Samsung One UI 5.1 on top. Samsung will deliver four major Android OS updates for the Galaxy S23, S23 Plus, and S23 Ultra. The company also guarantees five years of security updates for all devices.

Latest update for Samsung Galaxy S23, S23 Plus, and S23 Ultra

April 3, 2023: The Samsung Galaxy S23 series is getting the April security patch along with a major camera upgrade. It features firmware version S91xNKSU1AWC8. The update is currently rolling out in South Korea, but other parts of the world should get the update soon.

To check if the update is available for your device, head over to settings > Programming Update and press Download and install.

  • March 9, 2023: The Samsung Galaxy S23 series has received the March security patch, according to Galaxy Club. The update was about 350MB in size and was released with firmware version S91xBXXS1AWBM. It didn’t bring any new features or changes, except for the March security update.
  • February 20, 2023: The Samsung Galaxy S23 series got its first software update with firmware version S91xBXXU1AWBD. according to SamMobileThe update rolled out with the February 2023 security patch. It also included minor bug fixes.
